wow, I stand corrected... even in that photo they look out of scale. wink.gif

Why would they be divided, are they from different eras?

The Lakenhalle were build in the 15th century (1 century after the Belfry)

Here is a small update: I've added the roomers and the building is a bit less tall

looking good Alex. I assume as you're still modelling that the textures still have some work to be done to them? I hope so because I'm not really convinced by the current ones, particularly the roof (the tiles seem far too big for starters, I would try tiling it more, or trying a whole new texture.

Yes yes, offcourse... I'm still working on the roof texture and the wall texture... But first I'm trying to get the model right. The textures are just to see how it would look in the game

hmmm...

although it's nice, the new version looks somewhat squashed to me...

I'll gonna have another look at the real thing in December, might change my opinion after that...

@Simarillion: I now... I was thinking the same but I wanted your opinon on that matter... I'll see how it looks in the game when it's finished.

Ah... Are you coming to my beautifull city? Hopefully there will be some snow, it looks breathtaking in that period.

If you need some fine places to visit, eat or drink, just send me an e-mail!

Coming along very nicely indeed! I like all the small details that make it all that much more 'real'.

Still to do:
the wall on the right side is now a copy of the left wall, but that's not how it looks in real life (no stairs for example)
The "mammelokker" annex on the other side of the building. That is however a building from the 18th century, so I'll remove it for the SM-version (the simtropolians want it to be real ;) )
And then the final touches...

almost done!
