This one is not directly related to the game, but it shows that even in those days comunities were linked all over the continent. The middle-ages were not quite as local and provincial as one may think.
When I started asking for a bunch of weird stuff the other day our favorite librarian obviously wanted to know what I was up to. Yesterday he actually checked out the site and found that he couldn't see anything . So he is asking if it would be possible to create a thread open to the non-registered public, for comments and containg updates as to progress with Bats and Lots. IMO it's not a bad idea and since we don't have publicity yet the 'public' might well be limited to fairly useful 'technical assistants'. What do you think about the idea?
ionionion left an informative letter on the ST thread, and I sent them an invite (they had a look but didn't register). I gather it just uses the regular ferry though. For us we will need to have a new medieval ferry and a fully functional, upgradeable seaport. I think their efforts are more CJ related...
As for your librarian's idea, it's a good (actually inevitable), one. In a week or so...
With couchpotato's help I have solved my rendering issues, and will put some pictures up of my progress later on.
Well you'd be wrong... thanks for the link. I have to wait until after 12 to download it though. I did look up the collection, and it looks really great. However, it is a paid collection, which, prior to couchpotato's involvement, I wouldn't have even looked at. But now.... (That said, once the site is opened, we can't be openly using commercial work. So before then I will erase these posts, and send any further questionable ones via private message). Thanks for your ongoing support. I think a walk sounds like a good idea...
I am starting the download now... The title does say promo though, so I guess this may be a free selection of the entire collection? In which case, cool.
EDIT: I misunderstood, but it's a game-like demo level, showcasing some of the models from the main pack... Did you know this? If so, have you played it? It was nice wandering through a medieval town though, and gave me some ideas.
