Welcome Manchou,

This is the BAT that forced me to finally invite Manchou over. It's a lovely medieval styled building. I particularly love the ivy around the arched doorway. thumbsup.gif I can't wait to see what else may come out of your Home...

Welcome Manchou!

This BAT is just another example of your skills. The ivy really is beautifull (just as the building itself).

Don't worry about what category at this point, as much of these things will need to be further adjusted (power/water etc etc). What is this building? If it's R, what is the purpose of the big arched doorway?
To me it seems more like a gatehouse...

The way SM will work, at this point, is that zoning density will divide villages (LD), towns (MD), and cities (HD).

Are you using PIMX or the PIM?

I use the PIMX, The big arched doorway is to put the car ;) ! after, this BATs can be enter in a big lot with some BATs ! But now it's a simple house R$$$ with 5 sims !

I'm assuming the car reference was a joke... wink.gif

"after, this BATs can be enter in a big lot with some BATs" I don't understand what you're saying here...

The main point is for the time being, not to worry about modding at all; just worry about making the models.

ok, but after i put my model in the TSCex ;)

And no the the car reference is not a joke ^^ i don't know what's the name of the transport way in middle age ... :s

And yes, with this BAts and several others BATs I can do a typical medieval LOT and here the arched doorway can be useful !

Ah yes, there will be another version for SM as the stats won't match with regular SC4. So do whatever for the TSCex, but don't worry about the stats in relation to SM. In general what I want is for you to post a link to the model in the SMEX; but with this building I think it will work best, in time, as part of a larger LOT.

There were no cars in medieval times, most transport was by foot (with some horses as well as some wagons).

Now my primary question to you, now that you're an SM member, is if it's OK to include your models in the main release (not as dependencies). This is sort of assumed but I still feel it necessary to ask. Some of your already released stuff will work great with SM and will give us a lot more to work with.

Sorry Manchou,

I thought that after my last posts on your SC4D thread you had guessed who I am.

On SC4D and ST I'm Myself (remember the 'Croix de Lorraine' PM?), everywhere else (TSC included) Simarillion.

I'm using basically all of your stuff and simply never wrote on TSC because I just don't write French.

I agree that the model makes for a good R$$$ or a R$$ with some Com attached in the backyard. That doorway comes in very handy and I'ld love to see a few more of them. There wasn't much on-street parking in those days and a whole lot of places had backyards or connecting courtyards.
