whoa... that's looking amazing Alex, nice bloody work!!!

Sorry I haven't been around much but I've been tackling some big things.

That is quite inspiring, something that would be fantastic as a stage 8 building. appl.gifappl.gif

Thanks Thingfish...

no problem... I'll keep going, I was hoping to have finished the building by now but I'm short on time (exams are coming).
I'll keep working whenever I have time: estimated time to finish-> half june

PS: I'm going to try to add some medieval nightlights: soft orange-yellow (like candles).

Yeah that's what I've been doing for about 50% of my buildings - even if it's pushing reality a little bit, I think it's still important to have some visual interest at night time...

The next stage: now with decoration (inside and outside)

I've just seen that the flag at the tower isn't correct (there seems to be no wind ;) ), I'll correct this in the next stage...

coming along great Alex!! The flags etc are bringing the building to life, it's going to be spectacular.

This is the latest update... it's not medieval I know... but I'm going to finish it for SC4 and then adjust it to medieval times (removing the modern pub, mailbox, police signs etc)...

ah, OK, looking great (I love the chair & umbrella setup, but as you say, not SM appropriate). I will definitely be adding both versions to my respective SC4 & SM plugin folders.
I also particularly like some of the roof texture however, it does look like there is some minor glitches in there on the right hand side (where the lines of the the roof are "bending"...)

Ah yes... I forgot about the roof-glitch... I've gotten that comment before and completely forgot it... That part of the roof wasn't easy, I'll see what I can do

I'll add some wooden items to it for the SM version (crates, barrels etc)

It's been a while since I've written something on the forum: I've had some other things to do but now I'm back... The town hall is on the Stex (soon on the Lex). I'm currently been working on another project:
