-The materials for low wealth change a lot depending upon location and time. However, as a matter of generalities, the poorest will live in wooden-framed, wattle and daub lean-to cottages, with ground to peak rooftops, or have cob or fieldstone houses

-The basic peasant house in the 13th century was about 4.5 wide and might be twice the length; houses of the 14th century were about 6m wide and 25m in length. This latter type -- the long house -- had an attached "byre" or barn which might have housed farm animals or could have been used for storage. The central room was long and open with no partitions. There would have been an open fire pit with a smokehole in the roof above. At the end, farthest from the byre, there frequently was a separate half-height room used, probably, for sleeping.

And, most single-family rural houses of the time, as a guideline for others BATting, were around 10m by 6m. I hope this helps.

As you already guessed, the fourthone is a village 'map'.
Black: Houses
Grey: secondary buildings (granaries, mortars, stalls,...)
Circles: wells

that many wells?

I expected there would just be one communal one. It must be pretty easy to get to the water table over there.
Any ideas about the diagonal lines?

There are only 5 wells, 4 to the north of the road and one to the south. But yes, water is never far over here.
My guess for the diagonals would be fields.

FWIW I am always hunting for more images of LW residential & commercial. With the models I have rendered so far, I am not adding any detail to lots, just making them and adding them to the plugin folder. Although there are a lot of stage 5 and onwards buildings, they will never grow because there aren't enough lower wealth buildings to get there. This is to be expected and now the work begins in plugging the gap. In case anyone comes across any more good reference photos (of recreations) or diagrams of poorer dwellings, please post them. Here's a couple more from which I am creating some buildings today.
